Task2 sports and exercises classes are replaced with the academic subjects

IELTS Writing Task 2:
In many countries, sports and exercises classes are replaced with the academic subjects.
Discuss the effects of this trend.

Answer:
Sport is an essential constituent of education at school and Universities. However there is an dramatic shift in this trend in some developing countries over the last five years. Most of the countries are changed their sports and exercise lectures with theory or theoretical subjects. I prefer that it is a negative development.
To begin with, in this contemporary world most of the people are concerned about the exercises and sport activities. Also, the children are done this activities only because of their sport and exercise classes but after this trend, candidates are put their foot on the side of lethargic. Moreover learners have not doing any activities in their life and they causes several kind of diseases such as obesity and laziness. Apart from that many students adopted hyper and violent attitude because of their only academic subjects where they are not perform any physical activity.

Moving further, here is various reasons are defined about negative impacts. Firstly, academic are got lethargic behaviour because they are not found any career line with academic subjects also they have lack of interest in theoretical subjects. Similarly, the theoretical and academic's other subjects without sport and exercises cause many diseases under all age groups as in the beginning age of students they construct hyper and violent behaviour because their brain development is not properly developed which only developed by sports and exercises.

In conclusion, as academic subjects play an important role in learner's life as same as practical subjects have crucial role such as with the help of sport and exercise lectures, students make their career in sport line and also got many type of benefits from sport and exercise classes.

As it was my mother's birthday, I wanted to arrange a very special meal for us. Your restaurant was recommended in the TripAdvisor website, so we were confident of a lovely evening. When we arrived, your waitress gave us an extremely unfriendly reception and made us wait without any explanation for twenty minutes. When we were finally seated, we had to wait another twenty minutes for our order to be taken. We both ordered fish and chips but mine was cold and my father's was burnt. chips with mushy peas and homemade tartar sauce the menu temptingly described, but the homemade tartar sauce came in Heinz plastic containers and the peas were not mushy peas either, no explanation or apology was given. We were extremely disappointed and complained at the time, but the waitress was very unhelpful and said there was nothing he could do.
I expect a full refund for the horrible meal served to me and my family. I trust this matter will receive your prompt attention or I will be forced to report the matter to the local council.
Yours faithfully

Task 2 media also controls opinions and attitudes

Task 2:

Whoever controls the media also controls opinions and attitudes of the people and there is little can be done to rectify this.
To what extend do you agree or disagree?
You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.
Write at least 250 words.

Answer:
In some countries the media is controlled exclusively by large companies; in other it is the government that has this control. Often, in war situation, one of the first casualties is the media, which is seized by one group or another. This gives some support to the idea that the media is a source of power and control.
Whoever controls the media also has ultimate control over what is published or broadcasted and what is omitted. They can also add a certain prejudice or bias to their coverage of certain news stories depending on their own feelings about the matter. This is not a new problem, although the issue is perhaps more pressing now that the Internet and play-TV have enabled these messages to be disseminated even further.
However, we should remember that readers have their own ideas and opinions. You can control what is printed but you cannot control the opinions of your readers. I think the only positive here is that, nowadays, people seem to be much more cynical about what they read in the press or hear on the television. In particular, when it comes to the tabloid press, people know that they have to take what they read with a grain of salt. In other words, they read knowing they may be being lied to. Perhaps it is even greater concern that we have become so accepting of this form of censorship.
The only thing that can be done to alter this situation is for the government to regulate the industry so that there is no longer a monopoly on media ownership. This also means that they have to allow and support a totally free press, even if this means the government may be criticised or ridiculed within its pages.
